For the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz GLK a design competition under the motto “The Design Project” was announced involving 6 European Design Institutes. Particular attention was payed to the introduction event of the vehicle combined with an exhibition of the works of the design institutes. All this took place in the Mercedes-Benz engine assembly plant in Stuttgart.
